Mountain Valley High School is a Western Maine, Class B school, with an April 1, 2010 enrollment of 479 students. In most sports, we compete in the Mountain Valley Conference. In Football, we play in the Campbell Conference. Our wrestling team is a member of the Mid State Conference, and our Lacrosse teams play predominantly against Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Teams.
Our Venues
We play our home track and field meets, tennis matches, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, football, and field hockey games at the Hosmer Field Complex, on Lincoln Avenue, in Rumford, Maine. Get Map and Directions. Our Golf team plays at Oakdale Country Club. Our ski team hosts its home meets at Black Mountain of Maine. Basketball games and wrestling meets are held in Puiia Gymnasium at the high school.
